Ganguly and Harbhajan is reason why Brits ruled us -

I believe India is the one country where it is possible to have the perfect test wicket if the pitch is sufficiently watered with a slight blade of grass left on it. You will get to see the seam bowlers moving the ball around on day 1, the batsmen settling in and building an innings on days 2 and 3, the pitch starts crumbling and the spinners come into play on days 4 and 5 with the fast bowlers also chipping in with reverse swing on a deteriorating wicket.

All this nonsense about the ball turning from day 1 doesn't interest me at all because that doesn't give me the satisfaction of watching all the elements of the game on display.

It is more exciting to watch the test starting with Umesh bowling outswing at pace and Shami extract seam movement and then Ashwin and Jadeja weaving their webs later on in the game.

I don't care if we win all our tests by playing on rank turners. As a cricket fan, that kind of a monotonous gameplay doesn't interest me at all where you don't get the satisfaction of witnessing a wide array of skills.

We have drawn or lost 15 of last 42 tests at home.

Last 2 years we have not lost a test at home and few draws were there.Under Kohli we have mostly whitewashed teams in India. So Uvare talking rubbish in the thread and its more about your personal grudges.

I think it has more to do with your ignorance than my personal grudges.

Ganguly has a problem with the pitches of the last 2 years where we had the home advantage we should have  created ALWAYS for ourselves without being apologetic

Ganguly in a recent interview categorically said that the pitches where we last whitewashed Australia 4-0 at home, where our batsmen thrived and Aussies struggled were bad for our cricket. ( Aussies by the way got whitewashed in Lanka as well ).

Would Ganguly have uttered these words about the pitches had he been captain and his team whitewashed Aus 4-0 at home with Kumble and Harbhajan taking tons of wickets ?

My beef is against Ganguly's hypocrisy. And the lack of unity in our cricketing fraternity about building result pitches that support us for our home series.

Everybody has diff opinions .Ganguly had diff opinions .Kohli wants result pitches and we are getting results so what's the fuss about.

I dunno what kinda anger you have against Dada n other ex players, what wrong they have done , served country well and backed their team n players, read about Amit Kulia, the wkts has been good n rank turners started becoming a norm under Dhoni n was awful and the only way he could win but we suffered over seas.

Sporting wkts or flat decks with turn on day 3 to 5 used to be the norm n maybe one odd dust bowl in a series like Kotla before Dhoni came in.

Once in a while, some chut discovers internet and then proceeds to spout garbage on ICF.
