  1. 1. Who should be our keeper for the remaining Tests vs England?

BUMP

75 of 59 for Pant

He is knocking on the door so hard, its just a question of time before he smashes it open.

saha for now unfortunately
let pant play this whole season....

What is he going to achieve in the rest of this season that he hasn't achieved already? At worst, he is going to lose form/ lose interest due to lackluster bowling that he does not even find challenging to play in domestics.

he has to keep doing the good work...and then do well in A-tour if any
progression happens step by step...if his batting is found out in the internationals his progression will be jolted by 2 years
shouldn't be brought undercooked in my opinion
look what happened to iyer

I  don't know whether Yuvi still retains the ability to hit fast bowlers that he once had till 2011.

Pant and  Hooda can be tried in the No.5 and no. 6 slots.  in LOIs only.  in the near future as we badly lack power-hitters in those positions. That will give them some practice against genuine pace too.  Hooda's ability to bowl some off-spin will also help us.   Both these guys have power-hitting ability.  Check out the number of 6s Pant has already hit ( 44 in only 5 games )

Kishan can be tried in LOIs in early 2018 too, after the next season ends.

I don't think they should be tried in 5 and 6. They are strictly specialist positions where the ability to rotate strike very efficiently is equally, if not more, important tha 6 and 4 hitting. Look at peak MSD. I don't think either of them is in the same mould.

Or smashes the heads of the selectors due to irritation.
