Yes, I expect Anderson at his best. This test we saw Anderson bowling well even with not much match practice. Next game we might see him at his very best and Woakes together who is really fit and coming back after some rest. We are in for good bat and ball competition and the onus will be on our openers and on the middle order to really perform well. If we bat first and put an under par score of say 300ish,  Cook and Root will ensure they take atleast 150 run lead to put us in trouble.  Trailing by 150 runs in Mohali will be the last thing we need.

You risk losing the match when playing with five batsmen but you also win matches like this one where the fifth bowler played some part, Yadav would have got Stokes in both innings if not for bails not falling so Stokes was lucky in that sense in first innings.

 

Until we find a competent all rounder or atleast a batsman who can bowl like Sehwag or Tendulkar, going with five batsmen is the best way going forward as it places onus of these batsmen to show responsibility which will help India when playing abroad.
