fineleg Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Heartbreak for Seven U-19 cricketers Digvijay Rangi, Chandan Sahini, Daryl S Ferrario, Sandeep Tomar, Rishabh Bhagat, Simarjit Singh, Izan Sayed The selectors were caught off guard themselves. "The board didn't communicate to us the eligibility norm," Venkatesh Prasad, the chairman of the junior selection committee, told ESPNcricinfo. Even Amitabh Choudhury, a BCCI joint secretary and convenor of the junior selection committee, didn't know of the eligibility criteria. The selectors met again last week to pick seven new players. In one blow they had lost three quicks. "Our biggest concern as selectors was the psychological effect of this on these kids," Prasad said. "If I were in their place, I would feel pretty angry and disappointed. We have been assured by the BCCI that it will speak to them and take all necessary steps." http://www.espncricinfo.com/india/content/story/1070271.html
BeautifulGame Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 First the decision not to broadcast Ranji Trophy Then the incompetence about communicating about Women's series against Pakistan And now this pathetic incompetence. BCCI has been a real shambles .In any organization heads will roll for this incompetence but this is BCCI no one cares about any responsibility beetle and G_B_ 2

Vijy Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 The ACC's rule was somewhat strange, but the BCCI really screwed things up - should have paid more attention to the rules.
