I support BCCI stance of not letting Indian players play in other leagues.  Why provide non-Indian leagues with a bigger Indian audience?  Its competition.  And I have no issues with them trying to preserve the IPL's status as the best league by a distance.

I agree with it as well, but in the case of Pujara, I would be willing to make an exception. If he says that he has worked on his LOI game so much, yet even for 50 L doesn't get a shot at showing his usefulness/uselessness in the IPL, I feel like he should be allowed to show it somewhere else, as long as it doesn't interfere with his India duties.

Tbf he could show his talent even in the Syed Mustaq Ali tournament but I think he even struggled for big hitting even in that tournament.

No Indian player should be allowed to participate in non-Indian league else it will dilute the IPL brand. If Pujara really wants to prove he has improved, he can show his skills in domestic T20 and odi tourneys, especially Syed Mushtaq Ali tourney and reduce his base price. If you are unwilling to do any of those things, you should accept the fact if you are not selected.
