Team with the best bowling attack will win this Champions trophy

Recommended Posts

If wickets continue to be flat like this ,then whoever has the best bowling attacks will win the Champions trophy.

Just like how green wickets reduce the gap in quality of pace attacks , these flat short boundary wickets reduce the batting quality of teams.Every team including trams like Srilanka Bangladesh ect will be able to 300+ totals.

In this T20 age it's simple impossible to bat out any opposition regardless whatever the target a team can set.

It's the teams with the best bowling attacks that can make difference in these flat wickets will win.

Hence Australia will have edge over others with Starc and co imo.

If flat tracks, then Aus will be almost a guaranteed entry into the finals. They have so many flat track monsters in their batting lineup: Warner, Finch, Smith, Lynn and then have the best bowler in Starc.

Our batsmen may not be able to chase/make scores of 320+.

I would rather have pitches like the  CT2013, where there was help for swing and spin, and runs were difficult to come by.

England bowling attack also looks good with Willey,Wood,Woakes,Stokes,MoeenAli & Rashid.

That's an ok atttack at best.

None of them are good death bowlers or proven quality.Only Woakes is.

And most teams have better spinners than Moeen and Rashid I would say

But they have plenty of options and new ball attack seems very good.
