Can Kesav Maharaj become a bigger threat on SA tour?

Last time India toured England, batsmen kept losing wickets to Moeen. It was last thing expected from Indian batsmen.

 

Kesav Maharaj has been in good form. While we are talking about Steyn, Rabada and co, will Maharaj become a giant killer on the tour?

Rahane has to watch our for him the most. He has been in consistent or has tried playinf some wierd shots to spinners. Kohli too has thrown his wicket to spinners even though he has a solid game against spin.

 

Vijay will be hoping that he can see out Steyn-Philander-Morkel so he can take on this guy.

They will do all right, better than how Maharathis did during 02 tour of Nz where Vettori barely bowled.

He is very good bowler and has done much better than Ashwin and Jadeja outside Asia.

That could be a possibility as in cricket or life anything is possible but not a probability, Moeen was bowling fastish off breaks n Indians were not exposed to him as a bowler, normally they would have bowlers like him for lunch, dinner, breakfast n brunch n after yo-yo.

Lyon is a class spinner n he can give Indians a hard time, other the Rahane don't see Indians having spin problems.

So the fact is Lyon was highest wicket taker during Aus tour and Moeen was 2nd highest wicket taker during Eng tour, but yeah this is masala with no substance. 

 

This is not 2000s where talking about spinners against Indian batsman can be considered rubbish.

Conversely Indian batting has improved greatly against pacers n more spin is being bowled, Virat ,Vijay, Rahul, Saha, Pujara, are good players of spin only Rahane is suspect n Jadeja, Ashwin, Pandya will kill them.

If Indians lost wkts to Dibbly Dobbly SL who bowls at 110 then will u say next time will Indian BATSMEN succumb to him next tour.

If this would have happened once then it can't be debated. But this side is probably weakest against spin in last 30 years and has lost lot of wickets to spinners in last 2 away tours.

What I have necessarily learnt, sporting or hard wkts ain't bad for spinners, in past there have been spinning greats from Aus, England

Captaincy is a big factor, also the extra bounce makes a huge difference provided you put more body in your bowling and, you getting enuff overs.

Indians hopefully don't take him to lightly n over attack before seeing him properly, their spinners do well on their turf n ours unfortunately don't perform well there, that's where I think Chahal, Kuldeep can make a difference but bevda Shastri n Kohli won't make that call.

I cannot wait for this series because I know that Hahane is going to flop miserably. His past records don't mean jack ****. Keshav Maharaj is here to rescue BCCI team from the plague i.e. hahane.
