Predator_05
Toh kya hua yaar. They would have embarrassed themselves in Beijing anyway. Indian hockey died in Athens 4 years ago.

umpire
sad day for national sports. We hit lowest, only thing is to go up. Thing is we should play our game, not try to adopt, imitate others style. how can we turn around our hockey?

mhr123
why can't some1 start Indian Hockey League .. same like ICF or ICL to raise the standard of the Game ,pump in some money and bring some foreign players. This would be good for Indian Hockey , may be this is the only way out/

kabira
there is Professional Hockey League and I happen to watch couple of games. The standard of hockey was excellent in games I watched. ESPN runs it so not sure if they pump that money back to national hockey team
King Tendulkar
Shocking we are not going to the olympics. Truly shocking. And to think they complained about not getting enough money compared to cricketers! They should be thankful they do not get same attention as otherwise they would be getting their houses burnt down! ludhianvi
I think whatever happened is probably good for the game. Now hard questions will be asked and many changes may be brought in. The whole IHF needs a turnaround.
beetle
What a heart breaking news ... But in a way it is good. This was the kick in the face that the sports authority and the hockey fed needed so badly. I hope they can remove all the decaying rotten top brass.(Gill has already refused to resign) the only hope for medal was hockey.. @ predator.. yaar i know we have been on decline in this decade.. Nah cricketics...they were never a medal prospect.More likely to get some in sports like shooting .....
