BeautifulGame
http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ranjisuperleague2010/engine/records/batting/most_runs_career.html?id=5961;type=tournament Rohit Sharma has scored quite heavily in domestic cricket in the last year and deserves a shot. If anyone is a cowlasher, it is Manish Pandey. i don't see VVS playing the next test, i think Rahane and Kohli should come into the side. It would be slightly unfair if Rahane misses out after being selected for all 3 matches but i can see him being left out with Rohit and Kohli playing. I'm not sure Dravid will want to sit out. He is in the the best form he has been for years and will see this as a chance to extend a golden run. Manish Pandey is not a cow slasher. He is a quality batsmen who played some excellent knocks in tough conditions in Ranji already. He was the top run getter in Ranji trophy in 2009-10 season which was just his second first class season. U dont score a 4th innings hundred against Mumbai in a Ranji trophy final by being a cow slasher. Link to comment
ganeshran
Rohit Sharma is one of the brightest prospects in Indian cricket. What worries me is his temperament to play a long innings. He throws it away even in ODIs. However technique wise he wont have any issues at the test level. Link to comment
Pagalpanti
Ideally would love all 3 youngster to play but Sachin will surely play he needs to get into a good nick ahead of Australia and also try and get the monkey of his back. Link to comment
Cricket Tragic
Hopefully the end of Yuvraj's test career. He is still one of our best ODI players and hopefully he continues to do well in that. Link to comment
Manny_Pacquiao
i dont know if he will get a chance to bat, or even play, but if he gets time in the middle i'm sure he will make a good score. he has been scoring runs for fun lately, simply unstoppable. If you had told this before this Ranji season i would have agreed. why? he has always scored heavily in first class cricket. the bowling doesn't test him at all. Link to comment
ganeshran
Let Kohli wait for some more time and give Sharma a chance. Link to comment
Laaloo
I personally rate Rohit ahead of Kohli Link to comment
Talwar
Dumb move, should have sticked with yuvi. He should have got atleast 10 innings to c whether he can survive in test cricket or not. Link to comment

cowboysfan
I personally rate Rohit ahead of Kohli Rohit's style is more suited for tests,he can get bogged down and not score for long stretches of time(like he does in odis) and nobody will care. Link to comment
Sid
I don't what u r laughing at but i do believe yuvi must have got a long run atleast this time before he was dropped. He has got many long runs before ,another long run wasnt needed to prove he is **** in test cricket. Link to comment

Too many ahead of him. Link to comment
zep1706
Good to see common sense prevailing finally. Feel bad for Yuvi as he wanted to do well in the test format, hope he continues to be brilliant in the ODIs and T20s. Link to comment

Magneto
Rohit Sharma is my favourite Indian young cricketer. Hope he gets a break (if Laxman is rested) in Mumbai and makes his debut in front of his home crowd. Link to comment
