Prudent
Do we really need a coach? What do you guys think now? Link to comment
Gambit
Yes, yes and yes. Coaching is a full time job and Dravid cannot look into things like organising practice drills, sorting out technical and mental problems etc etc. Let him sort out his own batting problems first! Link to comment
King Tendulkar
Just give Prasad the job and Singh his assistant. And that will be sorted Link to comment
beetle
Agree with dsr.....i am a big fan of Prasad now.....:D Link to comment
Gaurav
Impressed with Prasad. Fielding needs lot of work though. Link to comment

living
I think we should have a team manager for each tour, and Indian bowling, batting, fielding coaches so that there is no power struggle. Link to comment
gs
We need a therapist to advise the captain and the team management when they have a brainfart like yesterday. Link to comment
SightForTheGods
At least not a coach like Chappell. I'm happy with our bowling coach. We currently do not need a batting coach as we are blessed with senior batsmen who are probably much better than most batting coaches. But in the future, we will need good batting coach to train our youngsters. Link to comment

coffee_rules
We need a therapist to advise the captain and the team management when they have a brainfart like yesterday. What about the brainfart the captain had in Sydney? There, we didn't even win the series, but still chickened out enforcing the following, having batted for 705 runs in the first innings and then batted again. Link to comment
Bumper
We need a coach so the Wall can focus on what he does best - Bat the opponents out of the game. Link to comment

King
It won't matter really. A coach will add about 10% to the efforts of the current team. Is India lacking that 10%? I guess not. When something is just working right then don't bother fixing it. It's not like India doesn't have enough support staff. They have a bowling coach, fielding coach and a team manager anyways. ludhianvi
You need someone with some authority in the team. A captain is good, but there also needs to be someone above the captain to overlook the entire team. A coach is a good way to go forward. Link to comment
