I discovered Irfan when he sang Phir Mohabbat from Murder 2... he has song some good songs this year... You know, I do like 'Dard dilo ke' too and it was on my 'longlist'... just missed my cut I guess.. but thinking about it , youre right it is certainly better than silly item nos like Entriyaan and Jumme Ki Raat... May not necessarily be top 50 quality but love me a bit of rock music, especially hindi rock music. KK for me is one of the best Hindi film playback singers ever. The song depicts the breaking of shackles in the movie. A movie till that point shows her fight to free herself. Just like Aazadiyaan in Udaan.
