Watson87
He always plays brilliantly for Deccan but hardly contributes for India, Kohli and Murali Vijay are better candidates. Link to comment
The Dark Horse
I am sure, if someone like Shikar Dhawan had been given the number of chances like Rohit, would have esablished his spot by now. Link to comment
Texy
did KT sarcastically make this thread? :cantstop: Link to comment
King Tendulkar
^ No! They guy has enormous ability. All the shots in the book and tremendous technique. He plays with loads of time at the crease and has a stamp of class in his shot making. The cricket eye can see the special talent! He is special. As for his critics. Remember he is 22. At this stage he is better then Dhoni or Gambhir when they were 22! He is 22 and already world class imo. People say he is mentally weak and throws his wqickets away, well these are simple things to overcome and develop when he matures(may have already matured in this department). The critics are fools to write off a 22 year old on flimsy criticism. Easy to develop this mental strength when just a kid, but not easy to develop the batting skills he has whatever age you are. He is a superstar in the making! Link to comment
Zap_Brannigan
We should let him bat in his Deccan chargers jersey. Maybe then he will get a few decent scores. Even go as far as having a few cheerleaders on the sideline and announce all the sixes as DLF maximums and all catches as karban kamal catch. Link to comment
Chorazin Reto
Hmmm i logged in here the other day and im sure the members of this forum were about to take out their effigy building kits and burn some Rohit's. I log on today and everyone is all praises, what has happened in a week or so, what happened to "Nohit Sharma, Soshit Sharma, Roshit Sharma, Gohit a Lama, etc etc" I thought Raina and Rohit were being groomed as future mainstays of the Indian batting order? IKnowU
Rohit just lacks the confidence to go after the bowling when he knows he can. So he rather forces the issues and gets out playing a silly shot. Link to comment
