Mahela is one guy I rate very high.He should get a chance to work with the talent, he is one who I feel can make a difference unlike useless Dravid.

I disagree with you there, Head , Cummins, even Marsh play all formats. When you have player who is good enough to play all three formats and willing to play, denying those players a chance to play all formats is wrong. To me you need more multiformat players or you will be left with guys like Pujara who will kill Test cricket.We are already seeing how Impact player rule is wreaking havoc. You need multi skilled and multiformat players.They bring exictement to viewers . I am not defending BCCI here but it has done nothing majorly wrong in my opinion other than fighting for favorable scheduling for the team.It has been giving time to all local tournaments.Its teams have been at the top of rankings and getting to knockout in all formats.The only thing they have not done is win the trophies.It is more on players than BCCI. Sooner or later things will turn.Trophies will come.It took Australia 2021 to win t20 title.They had lot better t20 players than the team which won the title in past. Scheduling is where BCCI need to put their foot down and give its team fair chances, ECB are crooks, they have always looked after their own interests.

Playing under pressure of international cricket is a different animal.International cricket is not IPL even for t20s.Not everyone can handle the pressure, I thought SKY played without fear of failure but boy I was wrong.

This will kill the need for any domestic player to be an allrounder,and also gives wrong impression on depth of the lineup.

I disagree, Ashwin was better than Kuldeep and still is better than him atleast in home conditions. .Ashwin as a total package is nearly impossible to replace. Let Kuldeep be the third spinner for one more home season.When Ashwin wants to retire should be left to him.He has done nothing wrong to be replaced at home.

I was one of the guys who supported SKY's inclusion. But looking back at how crappy he played, afraid to even hit the ball in anger, he was the most useless selection . Pandya sure would have done much better than this idiot SKY.Who did nothing of note in two t20 world cups either. Aussies gambled on Head and won and India gambled on SKY and lost.

In t20 he is there as there are no better options and I cannot blame Jadeja for that, What has Pandya done in 8 years but he still is very important for Indian team. IMO Pandya and Jadeja are needed for the one dimensional squad which has been selected. Should they gone with a completely different set of players like Abhishek and co where top nine can roll their arms , I would have been fine with it. What have Rohit and Rahul done in in t20s .What did Bhuvi do, why was he an automatic selection and what has Siraj done now to become automatic selection. IMO selection of these players who never delivered in any matches for most part of their careers is what has doomed team in last decade.

Who are those two three guys, if you need two -three guys to bowl 4 overs then you need to select a completely different squad, where top 8 or 9 can bowl . I am fine with that selection but selection of a guy who may bowl 4 overs in. In ten matches over a guys like Jadeja and Pandya will not work. Ashwin needs to play as long as he is effective at home . Kuldeep is never going to replace a legend like Ashwin.Forget what Ashwin does with bat , bowling wise also I don’t think Kuldeep is better than Ashwin. kuldeep was one of the reasons why India did not defend that total. He stunk in finals and semifinal too.

Bumrah was not part of epic Gabba win, does it mean Siraj becomes a better bowler, that’s how illogical your argument is regarding Dhoni.

Jadeja might have survived initially due to Dhoni but he has become a far better overall cricketer than Dhoni ever was in test cricket at least and what great things has Dhoni ever done in t20s. , Jadeja is legitimately a great test cricketer who will walk into hall of fame.

So if Jadeja needs a caddy on flat grounds then imagine what would guy like Abhishek would do on those grounds.

No he cannot. Right decision to take Jadeja and Axar.

So how is that going to replace bowlers like Axar and Jadeja. You cannot replace a bowler who will bowl his 4 overs with a iffy bowler who will need a caddy to even bowl his 4 overs every match.
