The current aussie team is full of hypocrites - Gilly is no different!

Gilchrist approach may be summed up as follows: "Look, what we intend to do is, if our boys believe they have hit the ball, they will walk, if it has been caught cleanly. If there is doubt whether a fielder [on the other side] has taken a catch cleanly, we will ask the fielder. If he says he has taken the catch, that is good enough for us."
Yeah! Like Michael Clarke??? They cherry pick when to follow their policy on controversial catches! if they take the catch the oposition have t walk. But if the opposition takes the catch they will stand their ground!
"When a fielder catches a ball and says he caught it you tend to take his word for it. The guys have accepted it," said Kallis. Andrew Hall had claimed a catch at mid-wicket in the second Test in Durban but Hayden refused to walk and was given not out, advancing from 27 to a match-winning 94 in a low-scoring game.

I'm sorry' date=' this [b']guy is just a walking talking publicity stunt. No doubt that Gilly is a gentlemen (sometimes) and often applauds an oppistion player on the field, but all the praise he gets for being a 'fair' player is messed. If you want to walk man, just start walking. Don't wait for the umpire to rule you not out and try to make a point out of it. For example his dismissal againt Lanka in WC 2003 semis. He was given not out, and THEN walked. He's also done it numerous times before, and yet he tried to impose his beliefs on McMillan! McMillan rightly gave him a verbal pasting that Gilchrist will remember all his life.
it is not.

apparantly we were the only ones that signed that pact .... I was not surprised at all ... :haha:
Very fact thataussies insist on signign this pact tells uthere is sthg sinsiter. why the hell third umpire can;t be trusted because in their court gits like ponting's arrogance in face of obvious grassing footage doesn;t work little consistency is brought and aussie hate consistency in decision making.. yes they play hard and fair only problme is hard precedes fair so even fairness is tested by their hard(read cheating) demeanour game
