King Tendulkar Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 .....give the aussies out when they are out and dont give them numerous lives. They get rolled for 212. This just shows we would have won last test and 2004 series if not for cheating umpires. Like catches win matches so does umpires giving top batsman numerous free lives. This proves once and for all that umpires must go and technology comes in. Inida would win win many more matches without bias/cheating umpires!
Dooks Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 I agree DSRbhai. Robots should replace the umpires on field. But we have to make sure these robots are programmed by Japs ONLY and no Aus programmer (& a Bucknor) ever comes near one these robots.
Dooks Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Oh I forgot to add that we would make an exception on the programming side. Our own Varun is allowed. :D
Sachinism Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 hahaha and add, when close calls go our way instead of australia (rogers)
Anakin Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 I can only imagine the shock of OZs when they were given out for the first nicks

kumble_rocks Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Agree with OP . 11 against 13 is not a fair deal anyways ..
Anakin Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Agree with OP . 11 against 13 is not a fair deal anyways .. It was 11 vs 15. The 3rd chump joined the party and then the match ref.
Bumper Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Umpiring in this game has been fair after a looong time. It shows in the results. Which is why we will look silly if we complain even about this game. The pressure we put in on the umps is really working, finally! In addition to the good umpiring, Indian bowler kept creating opportunities, something we were pi$$ poor at, in the past. We always had that one chance to dismiss a batsman, which when taken away by poor umpires, caused us to give up. But yesterday was different. Gilly got away (that LBW shout from Kumble) yesterday, but soon RPS bowled a snorter to get rid of him. Symmo was dropped earlier, but Jumbo nailed him in his 60s. And oh, India choosing to discard the 'fair play' pact too may have helped.

fineleg Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 I can only imagine the shock of OZs when they were given out for the first nicks :two_thumbs_up: Get Technology big time into the game, this will tremendously improve the game! Even if some of the tech is not fully "100% certified proven", it will atleast be reasonably CONSISTENT!
putrevus Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Umpiring can be fair if LBWs are given same for both teams like dhoni they gave out , they gave Rogers out , the problem arises when only one team gets benefit of doubts which was in sydney test, most amazing thing there even third umpire gave symonds life there.
gs Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 yup.... that roy boy... went chatterrring... Pappppaaa...if it were you instead of Asad Rauf...:hysterical: Reminds me of that moto yuva ad on star cricket - pappa-billu :hysterical:
