He was batting with so much nerves against this poor WI attack, DK has always had one enemy his mindset. It hasnt happened in 13 yrs wnt solve now to 

 

TO be honest yuvraj also made runs in domestic n then in eng series.

Arey bhai!  I am not saying he deserves a place in the team. But only that he earned it. Unfortunately the process followed for selection is performance in domestic. Had Pant not have fantastic Ranji season he wouldn't have been fast tracked. Rest everyone knows about DK.

Selection process can't be followed to the T without logic.

A 35 + guy who is nearing his playing end scoring well in domestics Vs a youngster who is the likely future  doing well in domestics cannot be equated.

 

The commentators were justifying the selection of dk over pant saying he was selected first to the team.

 

Wth is wrong with these guys? 

 

Selecting a tried and tested failure in a tour like the WI just because he was selected first to the team during CT is just donkey logic .

The team is being run on a first come first basis???

Think its a good policy.Some consistent parameters need to be followed to the Tee with very rare exceptions. Otherwise favouritism, lobbyism would ruin the selection process. IPL cannot be an indicator. Just that they need to keep in mind past history of players and their comebacks. Maybe allow one odd comeback only if after a long time after being dropped (not injured).

Problem with come back of 'stars' is that it becomes difficult to drop or even rest them till they lose us the biggest matches.
