A case for 40 over IPL style tournament

It could be interesting to have a 2 month IPL style 40 over tournament, mostly day night games and have fewer teams say perhaps 5 or 6 to begin with.  

 

I would rather watch that than some of the international games being played to be honest and let's face it some of these games are played only for the sake of FTP and I think they hardly generate any excitement or entertainment value.

I prefer international matches.

I prefer a test match style T20 with 2 innings each.

IPL is the worst time of the cricket calendar for me. 3 years ago it was the opposite

Prefer they extend the IPL into 10-12 teams and use this period instead of a new IPL style tournament.

 

With PKL already going down that route , it will soon happen.
