PaiN_KiLLeR
We must play an extra bowler at Adelaide inplace of Jaffer. Sehwag managed to extract more turn than what Harbhajan had managed in the first two tests, so I dont think picking Bhajji would do us any good. But then again we dont have any other bowlers in the squad except rookie Pankaj Singh. Link to comment
kabira
we need to make sure Laxman bats at no.3 or 4....He is being wasted at 6.. Link to comment
chanakya
play Bajji drop Jaffer, However this does mean that Dravid has to open, Its not something that I like but.... Link to comment
Guest dada_rocks
dravid opens bhajji comes in.. jaffar out. bhajji is must for neutering ponting Link to comment
Guest dada_rocks
Dravid will do just fine opening the inning as long on other end u have sehwag Link to comment
ranj
It's fine as it is. One bowler's always going to spend most of the day twiddling his thumbs if we play five of them. And asking Pathan to concentrate on anything other than his bowling was the reason we lost him in the first place. KKD for Jaffer at the top maybe. But nothing else. Link to comment
Cricketics
Dravid will do just fine opening the inning as long on other end u have sehwag u remember the dvd name "lordz of lahore" Link to comment
Gambit
What ever we do, we shouldn't play 5 bowlers. That will be suicide especially if we were to lose the toss. Link to comment
maaki
Hope we fly Sky (Aakash) Chopra for the 4th test We should get this guy to replace Jaffa for the 4th test.. Kartik/Jaffas technique are flawed against pace bowling.. Aakash is having a great Season and should be flown for the final test.. Link to comment
Guest dada_rocks
usko drop kar diya sirf yuraj ko team mein lane ke liye 3 test mein fail hua with loads of howlers going against him and out he went Link to comment
ranj
I'd like to fly him out as 12th man, then stick him in at short leg for 5 days. We could even put a sticky label saying 'Gary Pratt' on the front of his helmet. Punter would appreciate that. Link to comment
BERGKAMP
jaffer sehwag dravid tendulkar laxman ganguly dhoni pathan kumble rp sharma Link to comment
Guest dada_rocks
u remember the dvd name "lordz of lahore" yes i do.. dravid needs some time to set in but during that period is someone is striking on the other end then pressure doesn't build up.. Link to comment
King
Brink Karthik in place of Jaffer. No big changes are required. In fact I don't mind going with Jaffer either, he will come good. Winning team combination shouldn't really be changed. Sehwag can chip in with his spin bowling as a 5th bowler option. Link to comment

Chandan
I read somewhere that India is thinking of going with 5 bowlers here, dropping Jaffer from the team. Can anyone confirm? Meanwhile Australia has dropped Rogers and included Hayden in their 12 for this test. Link to comment
Cricketics
How about laxman as opener How about laxman as opener just for this last and final test, how about trying laxman as opener.. now offcourse i am not saying that he scored 167 against aus in 1999 as an opener so he should be tryed again as opener.. just as this is a last test and we are looking to find sehwagz opening partner.. why not try laxman.. offcourse once this test series is over, against saf back home, we would have tonz of optionz for the opening slot.. dial_100
Nope.. Keep the same team... Let Sehwag bowl 20+ overs. That would give us good balance. Jaffy.....has got a good handle on these pitches and conditions... I would persist. Link to comment
Anakin
LOL, I was thinking of that 167 innings even yesterday with all the talks about opening. Then I remember how openly reluctant Laxman was about opening the innings, it's not his cup of tea. But then again with Jaffer's attitude, even Ishant will be a better opener than Jaffer.
