Currently, if you enter your password wrong, it gives you 5 attempts to get it right or your account is deactivated for 15 mins. So potentially, I could type some random user-id, deliberately enter their passwords wrong 5 times and deactivate their account? P.S: I dont want any of you bustards to try that on my account.. :D

You can verify by typing in random usernames and incorrect passwords.

After all 5 have been used, you will be unable to login for 15 minutes. so it's based on IP than username. damnknit, i can't time out finey :(( :(( :((
