This is not fair. :(( Nikred, You can always argue that ICF is not a cricket website in strictest of terms. It is a website of cricket fans, their likes and dislikes. You can go on to cite the %age of posters who have nothing to say about cricket on the forums. You have a strong case here.

This is not fair. :(( You can do that by using anonymous proxies. But I would not recommend trying to work around your organization's policies. or simply use internet on phone. Tapatalk (available for both android and iPhone) is an application to browse discussion forums with phone-friendly user interface. It supports about 10,000+ forums.

A name as innocuous as Indiancricketfans. Com gets blocked. While ‘Phakfashion.net’, which is pretty much the first name that would come to your mind if you’re trying to start a Pakistani home-grown subscription based porn site, isn’t.
akshayxyz Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Man - then only option is go to office early, get done with your job and get out as soon as possible. Theoretically - at least one more way possible (very difficult to setup), which is very unlikely to get detected, but if detected - you will still land in trouble. If you have admin access to your laptop/desktop - Get a non-camera phone (or see if you can just hide the camera :)) which supports internet access (gprs/3g). Research whether it supports tethering (over bluetooth/wifi). Then Share its connection with your desktop/laptop. And browse in incognito mode ( chrome/ffox both support it). If you want to reduce the possibility of detection even further - then setup a virtual machine (ubuntu) on your laptop/desktop and use your phone's network from within the virtual machine. my recommendation - that would be too much work to just be able to browse ICF :).

Still a workaround, but technically you will be just browsing your home desktop - and may still fall in category of using anonymous proxies.

I know for sure, I use more internet than anybody in that place, but recently I was informed by someone that there were some other people who were at the top of the list. For the amount I use, I should have at least got some kinda warning, but there was no mention of my usage. So maybe they only monitor cookies, cache, etc. stored on the PC :dontknow:
