Which player would you pick in your side Virat Kohli-98 matches 4054 runs at an average of 49.43 Strike rate of 85.96 AB de Villers- 138 Matches 5542 runs at an average of 50.38 Strike rate of 93.12 My pick would be Kohli, who would you pick. Has AB played a knock like one Kohli played against Sri Lanka at Hobart or against Pakistan in Asia Cup

ABDV any day.
AB Devilior
Reason? Kohli is better because he is proven himself in pressure situation and saved India many times in tough situation single-handedly

also people ignoring conditions abdv can hit 100 anywhere at brilliant strike rate while kohli has been very dominant at home conditions and good away

would love to know how many matches msd' date='raina etc finished after kohli set them up[/quote'] Dhoni averages all been constant stuck above 50 due to hard work of Kohli Kohli has to make the cake, the opportunist Dhoni comes at the end to blow the candles to take the credit.

True.. but it took a while for him to get going in the internationals . At the end of 98 matches Kohli 95 innings 4054 runs 49.43 avge 85.96 SR At the end of 99 matches ABDV 95 innings 3546 runs 43.24 aavge 89.44 SR It took 94 matches (90 innings) for ABDV to get into 40 plus average It only took 9 matches (8 innings) for Kohli to get into 40 plus average. Never gone under 40 since.

Definitely ABDV is in form of his life.. Kohli touched peak and somewhat regressed. Having said that.. ICC ranks ABDV as 2nd Kohli as 3rd.. justifiably so. Both are great to watch when in full flow.
