As an opener you need to leave a lot of balls early on for which Dhawan doesn't have the discipline. Also a simple guard change will not be enough to cover his technical weakness because Philander and other SA Pacers swing or seam ball both ways so if he gets the off stump guard it will pave way for more LBWs. Let's see how he goes. he made a gritty hundred in nz. He choose to grind down. so he can do it. Link to comment
Sgattick10
If not Philly, someone else will get him... Steyn, Morkel, Rabada. Philander has lost a bit of steam. Link to comment

Vern's accuracy is still the same. But his pace has dropped by 5kmph. Vern was one of the main reasons for the series win in AUS. Vern will trouble. On green tops, he is almost unplayable even better than steyn. But he usually gets smacked in flat pitches. From what I have seen lately, he has learnt to tie up one end in flat wickets Link to comment

Vijy
Gabbar flashed and slashed hard, and then ran away before Philly could work him out. Link to comment
