If not Philly, someone else will get him... Steyn, Morkel, Rabada. Philander has lost a bit of steam.

Vern's accuracy is still the same. But his pace has dropped by 5kmph. Vern was one of the main reasons for the series win in AUS. Vern will trouble. On green tops, he is almost unplayable even better than steyn. But he usually gets smacked in flat pitches. From what I have seen lately, he has learnt to tie up one end in flat wickets

IIRC he was dropped early on otherwise it was another failure...anyway he cashed in so credit where due.
