I am not denying his skills or quality....his fitness is what I have questions on....I don’t want a repeat of Zak like situations with him,where he would get injured midway through the match....Shami looks really fragile for that to happen.

Bro...no one is questioning his quality...it is only his reliability due to fitness...,despite the numbers I personally don’t think Shami is a greater test bowler than Zak but even Zak was not reliable for an entire series...he could leave the team hanging dry...like in England 2011 or in South Africa if he would have played the first test in 2010.

Too early to judge, besides Zak was only good in the 2007-10 period. Rest of his career he was a passenger.

104 wickets in 29 games is a fantastic achievement for an Indian fast bowler without playing minnows like Zim and what BD was when Pathan did it. Only if he had fitness work ethics like Umesh Yadav and Umesh had what Shami has.  Though on this tour, he has looked lost at times, lacking in intensity and focus.  This is the second overseas tour i have seen him like that. Last was on England tour.
