Agree 100 per cent, Pujara makes 5 crores every year just playing one format of the game, he will retire with more than 60-70 crores as lifetime income. This is insane level of money, only cricket players from Big 3 countries make this much. And No need of crying for IPL money, he does not have skills for T20, so does not make money in that format.

In related news, reacting to an offer by Indian batting maestro Rohit Sharma to come play for a county team for free ("Bunty told me to up my long game, yo"), ECB chairman Colin Graves has threatened to shut down the county circuit for 2018.

 

"We are exploring all possibilities" said Graves and ECB CEO Tom Harrison, in a joint statement, "Including offering our boyfriends in exchange, if Rohit acquiesces to remain in India".   

 

The  duo however were quick to mention that Rohit was "More than welcome to come for the India England Test series starting in August this year.  In fact we'll send a private plane just for Rohit so he can play the Tests.  You know what, he can get Dhawan too, it's a large plane"

Provided we can send our players in exchange in equivalent tourneys, especially to Australia, England, NZ and SA.

 

I fear that otherwise all that'll happen is that they'll know a hell of a lot more about playing heres, than we there.
