Anti-Virus on Macs

Do you use AV on Macs? If so, which one. I have Malwarebytes (technically not an AV unless it is the paid version which is said to replace AVs) installed.

I had MBA 10, but never had any antivirus on it. Never had any trouble. Since 2016 it has gone bad and since then no mac.

Why would you need antivirus on mac, never needed any anti virus on my macbook and it works perfectly.

mac need some anti-virus to keep virus like you away from it

McAfee has Antivirus for MAC OS.

Not just McAfee but there are others as well such as Norton, Sophos, Intego, Bitdefender, etc., offering AVs for Mac .... I would assume they would mainly be cleaning up windows viruses that make there way to Macs, remaining in hibernation until passed on to a windows user

AVs are not needed for PCs also under one condition. You shouldnt be visiting porn sites and downloading music and movies illegally throuhg torrent. Many of the AVs market with scaring you with multiple virus threats and sometimes the AVs themselves have them.

Even on my PC i dont have any AV for past 2-3 years.

I dont do porn

I dont download no music, movies

i dont watch movies online at all.

i dont download torrents and all that non-sense
