By playing A team tours.That is how the current process is. That is how even Iyer,pandey and Hardik Pandya got into team.Till now he was a failure even in that.

He was failure in only one A tours i think. if you are talking about international game, he played few good inning against visiting England and Newzeland side last and this year. But ya he has to perform consistently there in A tours,however this was a great chance to try some new youngster which has been wasted with Raina selection.

Mohammad Kaif and Yuvraj batted brilliantly in the natwest final in 2002. They are a must in our odi side as they know the conditions well and are experienced players. 

With the way selection decisions are being made, both are in with a chance with the above reasoning from our management.
