The whole this-that on the field captaincy and crap about all the three captain - Rohit, Dhoni or Kohli is a lot overated talk. Eventually we will still lose every time we don’t select the right team like we did a lot of times.  If we play the same team in the near future as we did in Asia cup by keeping Rahul out, that ain’t any good captaincy for me.  Dhoni isn’t saving great amount of runs for us as a captain either. The hype is way too much. Also Kohli’s on field captaincy has nothing to do with our poor champions trophy match result against Pakistan. That was a bad collapse against a team in form. We just have taken that one game and put that against Kohli’s resume and keep blaming his captaincy everytime.

 

That said, there is not much difference among al those captains in ODI’s at this time. No one is extra special. Lets sort our mess of our batting order and the team selection and we can win with any captain. Its not like few fielding changes under new captain have been so different that we are all of a sudden beating teams by big margin that we need new captains.

 

The whole “who is better captain” talk is overrated. Captaincy and this partivular leadership talk is overrated.
