cowboysfan Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 here are some problems we have (some cannot be overcome) 1)our bowling on patta wickets is laughably poor.that is why i fear we were going to lose in chepauk. 2)the batting order is completely wrong.why is kohli coming in front of KP and white. 3)kallis and pandey have screwed us in the last 2 matches scoring very slowly in the first 10 overs.this is just unacceptable especially with the batting still to come. 4) i am afraid the chances of us making the semis are very low with the present bowling lineup.we have to capitalze on the quicker pitches at home because we might lose all away games from here on.if we can win 2 out 3 at home then we can reach 7 wins which might give us hope. 5)we are much better chasing this year because we dont know what a good total is,i would chase every game if we win the toss.

Can't do anything about it IMO 2) KP shouldn't be in the team in the first place :wall: 3) You really can't expect Kallis to give you a 9+rpo start, because he is stroke maker and not one for those agricultural shots. The reason why he has been successful is due to him playing his natural game rather than trying to hoik every other ball. Pandey has not looked himself in this IPL and Uthappa is really a hit and miss player, so Kallis has to do the cover up for these 2 players at the top. 4) BRC is virtually in the semis along with MI.

But, they wont drop Kallis because he also provides bowling. The problem is our bowling. One of Kohli or Dravid should be dropped and Appanna should be brought in. That'll give us balance.
