Donny
David Hussey has been knocking loudly on the door for a spot in the Oz national team. He's averaging 61.5 in first class cricket for this season and is a big contributer in Victoria's successes. The Bushrangers won the recent T20 comp for the third successive year and are in both the Pura and Ranger Cup finals. In today's last qualifying match in the one day comp, against NSW, he cruised to 25 with his partner, Brad Hodge on 84 n.o. He got to 113 before Hodge reached his century. He reached 100 from 60 balls. It was the second fastest in the competition's history. When he departed for 113, he'd stroked 8 sixes and 9 fours from 64 balls. The Bushies scored 8/352. Brad Hodge 116 (119 balls). Rob Quiney 62. Nathan Hauritz 3/54. Beau Casson 3/56. Link to comment

Desi Cartman
Junior Hussey should be in the ODI XI but whom should they drop ??? Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
Someone. Anyone. They need to make room for him. I'd suggest booting Gilchrist, opening with Haddin who'd keep (or Mike Hussey instead) and slotting DJH in the middle order. Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
Shame that after a few years of really tearing things up in the domestic and county circuits, he's been quite inconsistent. Only two scores above 20 in his last 10 innings. Wonder if Voges, North or anyone else will be waiting for a shot now. Link to comment
