beetle Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Do you see BCCI lose power to the Khans ,Zintas ,Mallyas and Ambanis? Will they keep putting money into this without having power. What will be the influencing power of these franchises? Will they be able to armtwist BCCI to get their players into the national team? What about match fixing in the IPL matches?Who keeps a watch on that? I think BCCI has unleashed a big monster that might end up harming BCCI.
Cricketics Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Itz not only that franchise will make all the money.. if IPL is a hit.. Bcci too would make money..
beetle Posted February 20, 2008 Author Posted February 20, 2008 But at what price....? Do you think they will be the only ones controlling the show?
yoda Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I am sure there are enough clauses in the contracts to ensure that the BCCI retains control.
Zakhmi Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Its pathetic to see the players being auctioned like cattle, etc. For sure, the charm and integrity in cricket is put at stake by our rich BCCI!
Gambit Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Given the involvement of Reliance and Mallya, BCCI might actually become....professional!
Zakhmi Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 what is the official website of IPL? I wish BCCI must learn from Reliance and Vijay Maliya!
