Darren frickin Sammy has an international stadium named after him as a captain who won WI 2 Wt20s.

Sammy is obviously a very useful T20  Franchise player but would never ever have a stadium named after him even if he was one of the highest in demand.

But even though that is a fact all This legacy, patriotism etc sound good on paper. At the end of day where you can make money to secure your future and your family’s future matters. So absolutely agree with Ramdin.

Funny though apart from PSL which franchise is after him that he has to sacrifice national duty? :hmmmm2:

His category would be upgraded to diamond during pakistan leg of PSL, says it all about PSL...

Iirc, Ind players are not allowed to play for non Ind franchises. Similarly, to maintain exclusivity and ensure that overseas players give their best in IPL, they should only be allowed to play in IPL and their respective domestic T20 As a criteria to be considered for IPL

To summarize, domestic T20 leagues:

Ind players -> IPL

Overseas players -> IPL + their domestic league

Players like Gayle, Pollard and co understandable. But what about the rest? I mean for fs you got like maybe 2-3 leagues that hires you at most if you have some sort of talent but are pretty much free like 8 months from a full year table. Why you no represent your country then bro?
