Ganguly stated that things could get really tough for India if their batting doesn’t perform its task to a tee. He added that a big first innings score is a sine qua non to win Test matches outside Asia. BTW, why the Indian team tank picks Shami is inexplicable. This guy either bowls crap all day, or bowls crap for 3 overs and then walks off saying he is injured. Also, he is a walking wicket.

Good for us that Pujara stepped up and saved us from disaster after Kohli got cheaply in the first innings. I hope other batsmen also put their hand up and score big.
