To hell with Shastri - This is probably the worst Indian side ever, for overseas tours

To be fair, the same bowling has let us down in some crunch situations as well (aided by poor captaincy and dropped catches). From 142-5 to 296 vs SA in 1st test

86/6 to 246 for England in 3rd test

177/6 to 332 in the 5th test

The what-ifs!

True but I am pretty sure there must be some drop catches in those let offs

The pitches have become more bowler friendly .. and our bowlers struggle to take the bottom half...Cant hold their bats... I dont want to give them leeway just because they take 20 wickets..

If australia batting is so weak why cant they run over them.. because of the bowlers we have such a long tail...They are not doing any favor with their bowling as well.. its a mediocre group with some exceptions.. Un less we have stud openers like hayden/langer no way can we win with this bowling attack..

Lol ,the filth called shastri is never to be taken seriously, why should we take his words as the best travellers

It was coming, they had a great run in sc conditions, but the moment they stepped out of their comfort zone ,they reclaimed their sheeps overseas tag ,

Usne keh diya hamne maan liya,no chance

Not matter what you say the bowling of this side is still way better than Dhoni's post 2011 WC trundlers...it is the batting which has two fold problem- Openers and non-exsistent middle & lower order. Even with crappy openers I think if we had Saha and decent allrounders (like Ashwin, Bhuvi, Jaddu) to support 3 seam bowlers we could beat the current Aussie side.

Pant is a perfect example of "Hack" (byproduct of IPL)...if you call him aggressive then please look no further than Gilly. Aggressive doesn't mean you hit like a tailender every ball and have no technique to survive in difficult pitch. So literally our tail starts at number 5 and you can count that even after 200 for 5 we can be all out for 215-220.
