Do not be surprised if Dhoni is still around till 2023 at the age of 42. He is definitely not moving out before 2020 T20 WC in Aus and may ick an chose matches to go on till 2023

People are having over expectations. I fully expect Rohit and Dhawan to make fools of themselves by still playing at 2023 world cup. Kohli will be there. Middle order and bowling will suffer immediately after 2019 world cup with al the chamchas and tools coming into the team in full force. The likes of Rayudu, Karthik, Manish Pandey, Shardul Thakur, Unadkat, Khaleel will keep on playing. Maybe by the end of 2021 India will start to look at the core by eliminating some of these leeches from the team.

 

My prediction for 2023 WC -

 

Rohit -- back up Rahul

Dhawan -- back up Mayank

Kohli (c)

Shaw -- yes, at 4 because Rohit/Dhawan won't vacate

Gill

Pant (k)

Pace bowling hard hitting allrounder 

Spinner 1 -- kuldeep/left arm spin option

Spiner 2 -- hopefully a very good leggie

Pacer 1 -- hopefully Nagarkoti at full throttle

Pacer 2 -- hopefully Bumrah
