There was a time during my teenage years when I could boast to correctly name the chapter and the book if you read any random lines from any of the 7 books of the series.

Also Brave New World is similar to 1984 in concept.

I have actually read one of his books, called The Stranger. It is a good book, but I don't rate it as one of my favorites. It does make one think, but I do not agree with that branch of philosophy: Existentialism, Nihilism, and Absurdism.

Also just the title, The Stranger, always reminds me of this American Painting from the 1920s, Automat by Karl Hopper.  

It's supposed to display the inherent loneliness and impersonal nature of city life.
