Daryl Mitchell was not out

As far as I'm concerned, just the front on replay showed an inside edge. I though Rohit almost withdrew the appeal. It was one big clusterpuck.

Without the DRS, with just the replay, it was not out.

Now, to argue the other side, if hotspot and snicko, can't agree with each other, at that point it is a tech fail, and so the decision goes to the on-field umpire which was out.

Still leaves me feeling kinda cheated. The umpiring has been utter trash. Even the 5th ODI, that over that Pandya got out, umpires basically upset the rhythm with ridiculous tomfoolery (not giving wide for over-the-head short ball, then Boult having to tell them about one-run short )

in one of the games involving england , there was a deflection but snicko missed it ..

3rd umpire concluded that it was not an edge ..

i think both snicko and hotspot should be showing the samething .. otherwise onfield umpire decision will stand

They should amend the decision in such cases. In this case, if the third umpire sees an obvious deflection without evidence from the technology, it should be not out. Either way, the benefit of doubt goes to the batsman doesn't it :noidea:
