Professor Armaan Loni killed for giving a speech. Now a Jalianwala Bagh style shooting incident on unarmed protestors. The chaos in Pakistan should be widely covered and splashed over all the news in Kashmir. It will cause huge uproar all over the world. Pakistan just did the same to some of its MNAs who were trying to march with their followers for a sit-in protest as their people are tortured by the Army. But it is a no news event. Conditions in Pakistan were very good during the era of General Musharraf. Although he was from military, but he was the first one, and the only one who gave Media the full liberty. Situation started becoming worse when General Raheel Sharif took the charge. There they started a big operation in Karachi against MQM (a political party). Thousands of people were arrested by Agencies. Some of them were presented in the court with tens of false accusations against them. While thousands of them were not even presented in the courts and Agencies simply refuted that they arrested those people. Those were made "missing" and their families didn't know if they were alive or dead for years. This brought a lot of anger against the agencies. No one liked MQM's leader Altaf Hussain in Pakistan. All supported all these extra Judicial Killings of MQM workers by the agencies. As a result, agencies succeeded in destroying MQM completely (although it is not possible while their vote bank still exist in Karachi, and it will keep on existing till Karachi is not made a separate province and get independence from the corrupt Sindhi leaders). After that operation, Agencies got the taste of blood. Then they started a crack down against the Media. If any one criticized Army, he was arrested. Even the biggest Media Houses like Jang and Dawn were destroyed to large extent by the agencies. Then came Shias who were arrested and not even presented to the courts. I mean that Shias perhaps made a mistake. They went for military training in Iran in order to fight against ISIS and other Islamic Jihadi elements in Syria. But Pakistani state didn't want them to do so. Therefore, they were arrested. It would have been better for Army to present them to the courts, but they were kept in the prisons without their families knowing anything about them. This turned whole Shia community to criticize Army. It was unnecessary step from Army. Courts were enough to punish those Shias who got the military training. Then came Baluchs. Not presenting them to the courts was a foolish step. Then came Pashtoons in the FATA area. Again making people missing and not presenting them to the courts was a foolish step and brought so much anger against Pakistan Army. Sindhis are also against the Army. They support Pakistan Peoples Party, while Army consider PPP to be a traitor. I don't know why Army went for the policy of making people "missing". This will back fire sooner or later. Problem with Kashmiris is a similar mentality that led to creation of Pakistan - An utterly baseless sense of ethno-religious superiority and 'different-ness' from India and Indians. This is why almost ALL of the Kashmiris who want 'azaadi' support Shariah law.
