You do realise that if India make it to the semi's that the Kohli, BCCI etc etc will all be vindicated that they picked the correct team the entire time.

 

Dhoni will also play in the T20 World Cup as well. Think about that for a second.

 

So many of these players will continue to play after the WC, instead of India looking to build and develop a new team.

Interesting to see how many players India carried on the basis of 83,2011 or WT20 2007 triumphs.

 

Relatively big names  like Amarnath, Sandeep,Roger Binny,Kirnani, Patil,Sehwag,Gambhir,Zak and Yuvi didn’t make it to another WC. Sachin too would have called it a day had it not been for that Stupid 100 100.

 

Even players like Munaf, Uthappa, Yusuf Pathan,Chawla,Irfan Pathan etc didn’t last too long.

 

Case can be made for DK and Nehra who came back in 2016 WT20. The WC win has nothing to do with their comebacks.

 

I think we will be fine regardless of our performance.

 

Time to cheer the team regardless of our likes and dislikes
