Dude, you are very naive. No army is innocent. Or even if it is, that countries 'opposition' won't view them as such. Therefore it's best to keep politics away from cricket.

I love how everyone is ignoring how army itself distanced themselves saying they want nothing to do with this yet people here want to shout about patriotism and evil icici.

Instead of supporting the stunts of rich spoilt sportsperson, maybe donate to the actual army, many of whose family live in poverty and need. We will see how patriotic people are

marzi hai aapki, aakhir patriotism hai aapka. Kabhi patriotism ki sachai dikhegi to zameen hil jaayegi cricket se compare karke

Good luck

Patriotism comes in many forms. Sport is a light hearted expression of love for the country. I was not comparing it to people jo sahid ban gaye desh ke liye. As mahi says they are the real heroes.

We all will be better off checking how the families of Pulwama martyrs are doing. Some shocks for the patriots there.

Where did i say all armies are innocent? All I said is we are allowed to support our army just like they are. But if you are equating our army with theirs you are very wrong. It's a known fact their army supports UN banned terrorists. We simply kill the terrorists and their supporters. I agree about keeping politics away from sport overall but a balidaan symbol on the gloves of a honorary lieutenant is hardly provocative and actually patriotic. Sport is about patriotism too for your nation.

Not equating the two. But I said no army is innocent. Even the Indian army. They're no saints and therefore Pakistan or any other nation has justification for opposing it.

I agree with the second part of your comment, though I don't agree with the sentiment, but that's a discussion for another day
