jf1gp_1 Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 I'll solve all problems, let dhoni open anyways openers are batting slow he can also bat slow. Then you accommodate all bowlers you want.

Lucky to get spin friendly tracks in SA as well. Compare that to pitches in 2017 CT. Those were flat pitches with little help for spinners. These are not. What rubbish is this. These are NOT spin friendly pitches nor were the pitches in SA. Wrist spinners have extracted that extra help like they did in 2017 CT.
SRT100 Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 You want to know where India's batting problems stem from????? Its taken place over the last 2 years when players like Dhawan, Rohit and Kohli would bat well and win the matches for India and only lose 1 or 2 wickets or wickets late in the match where the result is a formality. The middle order has not had the practice it has needed. In some of these games, India needed to experiment and change the batting order and give players a chance to bat and feel confident. Now what has happened is some players in the middle order are getting exposed too early in the game. Whats worse is that its happening in a World Cup and not some meaningless tournament. The team I propose to win us the World Cup is this one. Hitman. KL Kohli Pant Dhoni Pandya Bhuvi Kuldeep Chahal Shami Bumrah It has big hitters and it has Dhoni to block out one end if a collapse happens. It also has two batsmen in Hitman and Kohli that can win the match on their own. All 5 bowlers are match winners. They would be relentless. In fact I would argue that we can defend par scores much more easily with these 5 bowlers. Pant can win India a World Cup with one heroic performance in a semi or Final. However, Shankar and Jedhav cannot. Thats the facts. Dhoni is slow, very slow, but he also serves to protect one end and you need to think of all possible outcomes if needed. He brings experience in wicket keeping that Pant does not have. If India make the Final or Semi, I expect Jadeja will play and come in for one of KulcCha. He will be a weapon against the SENA countries. But this lineup needs to be tested now, not in finals.
