You could not be more accurate. As an England supporter I am furious that we have played One: Ali who has lost all confidence with bat and ball and especially so after Leach hit a 92 on awkward pitch and Two: That we played Anderson without a proper test of his injury. We deserve to lose this game just for stupidity

Ali to his credit has done very well and has won matches for England but I would always play a good specialist spinner over him.England tend to get  away at home with all these bits and pieces players but when they tour abroad they get exposed. This pitch has shown you need specialists to win test matches.

I agree, but his form has been very poor for twelve months now. He should not be allowed to remain on past glories

We always went into shell against ali in england. There was turn for him but smith never let him settle and that's how you play against him. Ashwin should learn alot from lyon.

Agreed! As an old fashioned English gent, I would have given Denly the boot a few games back. Buttler I would like to see replace Bairstow. I would have brought in Ollie Pope

What happened to that guy Pope, he was hailed next great batsman after Root.You don't need two wicket keepers in the team.They are never going to average high to justify their place as a batsman.
