Couldn't believe the support Nole got

Australia is much better place for him :omg:compared to London / US

All these cancellations mean Djokovic will continue to be at the top of the rankings, thus ensuring he breaks the most weeks at no 1 record. Especially, since players don't get the defending points back , despite the tournament being cancelled thru no fault of their own.

Indian Wells cancelled, wow. Clay swing will be affected as well methinks. Hope RG is cancelled.

RG got postponed. But playing back to back slams will be tough Physically & Mentally.

Wouldn't get surprised if nadal pulls out of US open to play sh***y RG:finger:

Double Golden Masters for Nole, once upon a time we all though he would never win Cincy. One more Cincy, one more Monte Carlo and it will be Triple Golden Masters.

GOAT :hatsoff:

Meanwhile Fed and Rafa could't even complete one set!!!!

Federer blew it with his 0-8 record in Rome and MC. His best chances were 06 Rome and 14 Monte Carlo.

Nadal never stood a chance with his abysmal record in Shanghai, Paris, and WTFs. Not too mention all the Miami finals lost.

And Nole only won this one because of the cakewalk draw and depleted field, during this COVID era.

Not really, has he dropped a match this year? The only people who could have beaten him (Thiem, Med, RBA, Tsitsi, Zverev, few other youngsters) played Cincy, up to them to do well. Who else do you have in mind? Maybe Kyrgios, definitely not Fedal. Have to admit his M1000 record is stunning. A well-rounded champion.

Nole contracted corona a couple of months back, will play too many matches in a short perod of time if he goes deep here, winning spree this year, somewhere it has to stop. I don't think he will win USO this year.

Kyrgios has a decent chance. Nole didn't face any of the players you mentioned in Cindy except RBA, and he almost lost to him. In recent years Nole has lost to random players in Masters tournaments, bar a few.

Their fault, I don't think we can blame depleted field. But good in a way that he won Cincy, his gas tank may be running low now.

Well he wasn't tested much in Cincy, apart from the SF-F. But yeah , if he is injured/out of form , there is a slight possibility that he may lose, but considering his draw, he is pretty much guaranteed to conserve his energy/fitness and sleepwalk to the final, and then it doesn't matter what opponent from the opposite side of the draw , he faces, because he will have enough energy to get thru them.

Nadal lost to little Diego, wtf!!!!

Good game for Diego but Nadal had a great pracrice our of this tournament. Won two games comprehensively in round 2 and 3 and now lost a close one. Just the pracrice he needed. Bur he did look rusty in this Game against Diego.

Diego played lights out tennis, beating clay God without a decent serve, baseline play was unimaginably high standard by the little guy.

RG depends a lot on the draw, depends on which half Thiem is placed. Nadal is vulnerable cos of the indoor stadium, night sessions, cooler temperature etc. And unlike most other years he won't come with the confidence of having dominated the season.

Diego is a gritty guy, has always been. Just look at the amount of games he plays and his ranking has been in the top 30s consistently now. I agree, this is Different RG environment and the lead up. Its much colder and conditions being different will also go against him. I think Thiem and Djokovic again would have better chance of clinching this slam.
