Smoking is worse than Alcohol and Marijuana too and tobacco lobby is still very strong in most countries. Anyways I have driven perfectly fine after consuming alcohol over the legal limit but the 2-3 times I tried MJ in my youth, I always got f'ed up after a couple of hits. Having said that proponent of Medical Weed which should replace most of the pain killers out there.

Seriously dude, alcohol and marijuana, steriods are absolutely different things. Getting high on steroids continues to be a massive addiction as say Alcohol. Yes, lot of problems happen with drinking too, but we have reached a point where we can't do anything with it, plus just because we have alcohol available, doesn't mean we should be accepting cannabis too. Age old saying - two wrongs don't make one right.
