I miss those days of ODI cricket where 1st 15 overs use to be fun, found a lot of clips were in 90s teams were batting at 7-10 RPO

batting at 10 RR in 2002 against Sa attack in their backyard, these 2 were my fav Opening pair in ODI

In that Chris gayle vs pakistan video reminds me, Shoaib Akhtar was literally the fastest bowler i've seen. He was just so raw. Lee used to be fast but he slowed down considerably compared to Akhtar.

 

Waqar had lost a lot of pace by early 2000 and was only a shadow of the force that he once was. Retired way early at the age of 31 also.
