Harsh Thakor Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 (edited) 1970-94 World ODI XI Gordon Greenidge Des Haynes Viv Richards Zaheer Abbas MIandad Kapil Imran Khan (C) Richard Hadlee Syed Kirmani (W) Joel Garner Abdul Qadir 1995-20 WORLD ODI XI Tendulkar Gilchrist (w) Ponting Lara Kohli (c) Kallis Stokes Wasim Warne Donald Mcgrath The 1970-94 team has more all-rounders in Imran,Kapil and Hadlee while the 195-20 team has better specialist bowlers or even batsmen and more match-winner,like Gilly and Warne..I would back 1995-20 team with the strike rate elevated in modern era and thus posessing better and more organized attacking agression. In terms of sheer class 1970-94 team may b even marginally better but may lack the improvisation levels of the later era.I would overall back the 1995 -2020 XI. U cant just add big names and make team. Kohli n kallis wont have same effect at 5,6 as they have at top
