Shunya Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 ^^^ yea...obviously...why just Dhoni....anybody in this side who doesnt perform should be sacked...and i m sure you and everyone is smart enough to see the statistics to judge who is performing and who is not...batsman, bowlers, wk/bat...
BeautifulGame Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 If dhoni cant perform with the bat then he should be sacked from the captaincy so that he would stop taking his place in the team for granted and show more intent to perform with the bat . And who would u make Captain?
saneindian Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 The bigger worry right now is with MSD the captain. I wouldn't mind him batting at 11 if he could somehow show more aggression in his field placements and strategies on the field.
WC2011INDIA Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Dhoni was never a good batsman. To me he is the ultimate FTB. Awesome batsman and captain for ODI format. Totally opposite for test cricket. Tbh even his batting in T20I format is nothing special.

He is supposedly famous for his Instinct based captaincy i dont know how he can change that pretty fast.. May be he need some luck going into his favour... I saw a headline in Cricinfo where he says we have to learn take wickets of taileenders i didnt read full article...based on this i guess he may not change his tactics much for main batsmen
bulbul Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 better to have a new look team now will ask them to Shave thier heads and play without caps :two_thumbs_up:
achilles Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Yes. A good knock. He's done justice to his role as a batsman. Lets see how Dhoni, the captain, delivers.
Lord Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 only if he was as aggresive captain as he is as a batsman
kabira Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 if only if Sachin was bit lucky and stayed for longer...we have to think that we can get aussies out around 250..
Lord Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 if only if Sachin was bit lucky and stayed for longer...we have to think that we can get aussies out around 250.. lucky?he played a rash shot.
Sachin=GOD Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 lucky?he played a rash shot. it was an inside edge :dontknow:
ganeshran Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 The ball was asking to be hit for a glorious drive. Too bad he got an inside edge :(
kabira Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 lucky?he played a rash shot. hardly a rash shot..probably he was touch late....it was just plain unlucky..
Lord Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 hardly a rash shot..probably he was touch late....it was just plain unlucky.. any shot can be justified like that.point is he did not need to for flashy drives there
