Ram
I still maintain Zaheer is our best fast bowler for any conditions. His use of the seam, conventional and reverse swing is tough to handle for most batsman. I can only imagine the kind of damage he would have caused in a pitch like the Motera. Zaheer is being dearly missed. We need him back, ASAP. Link to comment
Laaloo
ohh man he would have raped smith seriously man zaheer needs to retire from ODIS ASAP Link to comment
Zakhmi
At the moment, Zaheer Khan is the most experienced bowler we have. Certainly, he would have been a big + to our bowling prowess. Link to comment
f.b.m
Sorry. Moaning about imaginary bowling attacks isnt our forte. The best attack would be Zaheer, Ishant and Sreesanth but then again, if you're injured (due to an actual bowing reason as opposed to tripping over a cricket ball), you arent as good as someone who's fit. msb1991
Zaheer Khan is a good bowler, but I believe that, given a poor performance, Indian fans would be cursing him - calling him a GTB. Link to comment
msb1991
He has a toe injury' date=' no?[/quote'] Yes. Let me assure you that bowling with a toe injury is no laughing matter - it gets worse with time until it becomes a crippling pain after each delivery. Luckily though, mine was merely the toe nail hitting the top of the shoe and so cutting a hole in my shoe helped to control the issue - so my toenail won't fall off again:yay: Link to comment
Cricketics
i am glad he is not there.. atleast he is helping himself by not playing and helping INdia because he is jus tnot fit as he mentioned himself.. so good that he is taking rest atleast that will make his comeback stronger.. Link to comment
Zakhmi
definitely, he has to comeback very very strongly for us. Link to comment

Rohip
Our best attack is Ishant, Sreesanth and RP Singh. After that I think Praveen should be considered. Zaheer and Irfan just arent good enough Link to comment

graphic23
Zaheer was sorely missed, I agree. He can bowl on the flattest of tracks (like he got the 5WI at Bangladesh last summer) and also on swinging conditions (like at England). I hope he comes back very very strongly. We need him when we go to play on pitches like Kandy in Sri Lanka. The younger guys aren't very experienced on bowling on these pitches. Link to comment

He averages 35 over his career, he averages 30 against mighty banglas and zims. averages 40 or 50 against good teams and averages 40 in India. Guy is a waste of space, even Razzaq is a better test bowler than him Link to comment

Rohip
hes changed bowler after the english county stint realize that :) Changed bowler? Averaging 40 against Aussies and the pathetic Paki batting line-up? Averaging 30 against South Africa? This is the best form of his career? Averaging 22 against piss poor bangers? This is form of his life is it? One good series against England in England doesnt make him good in India where he averages 40! You must be srk fan too Link to comment
