Ankit_sharma03 Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 Every year IPL team waste tons of money on some bad player who brings nothing special, If you wanna invest in something invest in a player that brings something that lacks in Indian setup Why to pay 11-12 cr to manish pandey or karun nair why to pay 10 cr to unadkat Why to play 15 cr to cummins when his death bowling has never been a string point why to pay jadhav 7.8 cr Indian setup lacks options in 2 aspects Middle and death over fast bowler- Saini, Bumrah seems to be only ones , bhuvi before injury Lower middle order high s/r batsman - Indian setup have only few Pandya - MI got him SKY- MI got him DK- KKR got him Pant- DC got him Dhoni - Done n dusted Raina- done n dusted Dube- thats how bad the options are that his name is in the list Teams that have done well have - Malinga, Bollinger, bravo in past or in present rabada, archer, Morris . RCB did a great job investing in Morris rather then cottrell . Or teams with Finishers like KKR or MI or CSK in past @SecondSlip- the reason i said KXIP failed at auction was cause they lacked in these 2 areas. For future teams shud have a coaching staff and analysts looking for such players around the world. Team like SRH despite having 3 top class batsman is still struggling cause they lack in these 2 areas and the option they have are wasted on bench . You find many indian players who can bat in top 4 but few who can bat from 5-7 so invest in them Young indian bowlers are coming good in death over but most are inexperienced and lacks that consistency so invest in foreign fast bowler but smartly . CSK Smartly payed hazelwood , didnt over pay him like Cummins. SecondSlip 1

Also things are changing earlier their was dew now that problem is solved .
