seems to be with the English pitches and conditons.. they seem to do well mainly when playing there.. 2017 CT win.. 2009 WC win.. Aamir announcing himself in 2009.. Asif's magic ( though he could do that everywhere ).. reached 99 WC final there..

Even during the last worldcup they almost reached the semi final after a disastrous start.. 

 

Remove England pitches and they have achieved almost nothing of noteworthy in the last 20 years..  yes they did reach 2007 T20 final but that WC wasnt taken too seriously by many teams..  went out early in 2003/2007/2015 WCs..

 

Comparatively, Srilanka have done much better for their resources.. wonder where are they lacking.. and whether they would improve in future?

Because pakistani players play a lot in the counties. This is the main reason they have always performed well in england. Their bowlers also know how to use swinging conditions well
