Now his steps are bigger. Why is Arun not working on this issue ? Plus Tyagi did not bowl enough good length stuff ... common among rookies and this is where good guidance from the bowling coach comes in. What is Arun's role then ? Nobody has lost pace under him and everyone has shown tremendous impovement under his coaching. Each bowler is bowling to their strengths. Umesh and Ishant have lost pace in the last 3 years. Bumrah has added and retained that pace from 2017 onwards. Shami has retained his pace Bhuvi has lost pace from his 2017-18 peak Khaleel has lost pace. Siraj bowling slower than he did in 2018. Saini has dropped pace in 2020. More cases of lost pace than the other way round. Edited December 8, 2020 by express bowling Mosher, Khota and OpeningBatsman 2 1
Adamant Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Tyagi can bowl 140, is 6ft tall and only 20 years old. The kind of fast bowling culture we have these days it will be interesting to see how he develops. I think he has the potential to end up as a <30 averaging bowler in test cricket.
Khota Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Umesh. But I will defer to some good pace bowling experts we have on this forum.
